Besides working on our Spanish today at Habla, I went to the grocery store and ordered lunch in for Gia and I. We both took cat naps and then went back out to meet up with some amazing mommas! We somehow grabbed our rides home and forgot to snap some pictures but it was nice that the kids got to bond and mommas got breaks! So excited to have met April Halacy, Dakota Élan Stephens-Rhodes and another momma in person... FINALLY. We have spent a year chatting online in our momma communities.
We will get more pictures soon! We promise! PS- I really needed this. It helped to know I'm not alone and just be able to bond with mommas who know how hard it can be at times... but going with the flow!

For now... here is pizza in Mexico (it wasn't that good- we like it in NY better). We made it to Habla and my classes this week are online. Gia has hers in person. Gia painted for us and we walked back from class today!
I already love the people in this program. My instructor made things easy to learn online. I was so not looking forward to this way of working and learning, but after sitting with him for two hours, I think I could do this for a full day.
There is this amazing grounds keeper and a lady here to sets up breakfast for us. Ana is also here, the lady I got to know over the year through e-mail contact and a few zoom calls! We are finally here, in the flesh! We have been planning this experience for over two year. Due to covid, we were unable to come and now our program is going to be a bit more of a 1:1 experience instead of an immersion experience. With that said, if I love it here, I am going to have to come back.
All in all, good day!
Buenas noches amigas!
